Things to do when you have a broken wrist: make a guitar album.

That is, take an existing guitar album, slash it up, mangle it & feed it through the editing mincer until one arrives at a completely different guitar album.

In my convalescent disgruntlement and needing a guitar placebo, I revisited my noisy electric 2018 album Asp Burger in order to mess with some of the sonic textures therein. The result is a completely new set of tunes, part growly, lo-fi artypunkish, part moody atonal gloomscapes, and a couple of noisy crankers thrown in to defibrillate.

Most of these pieces are unrecognisable from their original source, so I wouldn't call them remixes, more like remangles. Many of them are extending on my looplike experiments over recent albums, this time building layers with abstracted guitar sonics and frequencies distorted in time, creating moody soundscapes with a grungey ambient quality.
